How To Make Money With Valentus

Welcome to my Valentus review and compensation plan breakdown.

One of the questions that we have to ask ourselves and hopefully know what to look for is if an opportunity is a scam or not.

We take a look at the company, the products, and the compensation plan including background details to determine if an opportunity is legitimate so you don't have to.

Think about it, we wouldn't want to invest all the time and money into an opportunity just to learn later on that it is a scam and lose all that time and money that we invested into it.

By the time you are done reading this unbiased review, you will know 100% whether or not the Valentus opportunity is right for you.

The reason why I decided to take the time to review Valentus was that I have seen some promotions I've seen online and wanted to learn more about them.

With that said, let's dive down and get started.

Valentus Review – What Is It?

Valentus is an MLM company that gives you the ability to earn additional money from home and is in the health and wellness niche.

The main product that they have is coffee.

The claim is that the coffee that they sell is healthy, and also helps you to lose weight.

They also have additional products, but the main one they started out with is the healthy coffee which used to be a big seller until they were forced to change the formula.

I will get into that a little later on but there is some drama associated with it.

Valentus Company Overview

In this section of the review, I am going to cover details about the Valentus company information.

The founder of Valentus is Dave Jordan and operates out of Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

The company soft-launched on September 1st, 2014 then fully launched a month or 2 after.

Dave Jordan has a lot of experience in the MLM industry, according to some sources he used to be a top recruiter in a company called Melaleuca until he was actually kicked out for reasons that are not 100% known.

Dave Jordan seems to be a very good businessman.

There was another big leader in Valentus named Korey Johnson who actually went as far as to launch a competitor MLM coffee company named Cellis due to a disagreement.

Overall, the management team and company business model looks very solid.

Valentus Products Review

In this section of the review, we are going to take a look at the Valentus product line.

When Valentus first launched they had weight loss coffee, a weight loss drink, an energy drink, and an immune system enhancer.

As of 2018, they added a few more items to their product lineup.

All of the products come in a powdered form that you are suppose to mix with water or liquid beverage.

Prevail Energy

Prevail Energy is an energy drink that is supposed to be a "healthy" energy drink. It comes in a powdered form that you are supposed to mix with water.

Prevail Immune

Prevail Immune is antioxidant and vitamin that supports the immune system. It comes in a powdered form that you are supposed to mix with water.

Prevail Trim

Prevail Trim is a weight loss supplement that comes in powdered form which you are supposed to mix with water.

Slim Roast

Slim Roast Coffee is a healthy "weight loss" coffee that comes in a powdered form that you are supposed to mix with water. Valentus also offers different "roasts".

Breakthrough AM/PM

Breakthrough AM/PM is a box of 2 sets of packets that include an AM formula and a PM formula. This is a 12-day cleanse. This comes in a powdered form that you are supposed to mix with water.

SlimRoast Cocoa

SlimRoast Cocoa is a chocolate hot cocoa drink that comes in a powdered form that you are supposed to mix with water.

PrevailMax

PrevailMax is supposed to give you healthy blood cells. This comes in a spritzer spray dispenser that you are supposed to spray under your tongue.

Prevail Keto Creamer

Prevail Keto Creamer is a coffee creamer that promotes ketogenesis. This comes in a powdered form that you are supposed to add to your coffee.

Prevail K-9

Prevail K-9 is similar to the PrevailMax but for dogs.

My Valentus Product Thoughts

Overall it seems that it has a good selection of products.

I actually used to drink the original formula of the SlimRoast coffee which was excellent in my opinion.

They had to change the formula due to an ugly financial agreement that Dave Jordan had with the formulator.

Once they changed the formula, the coffee to me wasn't as great tasting as the original.

Later on, the company found a new formula to remedy the taste without having to lessen the product benefits of the original which was a great move.

As far as the prices for these products go, unless you know a distributor, you cannot find the retail prices on the company website.

To sum it up, if you are looking for a great-tasting coffee, then I would try it out.

I also feel that the price markup is not that bad for what you are getting in my opinion.

Valentus Compensation Plan Breakdown

In this section of the review, we are going to take a look at the Valentus compensation plan and how you earn money with it.

First of all, the way to earn more money with the Valentus opportunity is to increase your rank.

When you first get started with a 1 box order you will be at the rank of IR.

Valentus Compensation Ranks

Here is a breakdown chart of what you need to qualify to reach each rank in the Valentus opportunity.

As you can see in the chart, you will need a minimum monthly autoship, a certain amount of personally referred reps that qualify for a certain rank, and a certain amount of volume to increase your rank and to also earn more.

Commissions Caps

Each rank that you qualify for will have a cap on the amount of money that you can make with the residual binary commissions and also from the matching bonus.

7 Ways To Make Money

The Valentus compensation plan offers 7 ways that you can make money.

Fast Start Bonus (up to $ 100)

The first way to get paid is through the fast start bonus that Valentus offers.

They offer 4 fast start bonus amounts depending on what package the new member or customer purchases.

When a customer purchases 1 box, you earn $20, when they buy the 3 box order you earn $40, when they buy 6 boxes you earn $60, and when they purchase the biggest package that includes 16 boxes you earn $100.

Retail Commissions (25%)

When you sell a product that "you purchase" at wholesale and then sell it at the retail cost you will earn 25% which is the difference.

Binary Residual Commissions (up to $ 100,000 per week)

The residual commissions work off of the MLM binary compensation plan structure.

In a binary, you have only 2 legs that can be built to an unlimited depth and depending on your rank in the company can earn more.

The Valentus binary commissions works of a cycle trigger which mean that you need to have a certain amount of sales volume in each leg to "cycle" a commission for you.

The first thing you need to know is that you have to have an active affiliate member that you personally referred placed on your left, and also at least one on your right leg, (both legs) or replace them to qualify to earn these residual binary commissions.

The way that the "cycle" commissions works are that when you accumulate 200 BV (total leg volume/binary volume) on one leg and 100 BV on the other. (it doesn't matter which one)

This pays out each week and the sales volume that gets calculated towards the cycle pay you earn is taken out from each leg and the remaining sales volume is left in to roll over into the next week.

You can have multiple cycles per week, in fact when qualified you can earn quite a bit of money per week.

Valentus Compensation Plan Cycle Bonus Residuals

Matching Binary Team Commissions (up to 7 generation match)

Basically, the way that this works is when qualified you will earn a percentage match pay on your personally referred and team members down 7 levels.

The matching commissions that you can earn are paid out using the unilevel compensation plan structure.

If you are unfamiliar with how the unilevel pay structure works here is a quick breakdown:

1st Level – This level of your unilevel compensation plan will only have your personally referred members on it.
2nd Level – This level of your unilevel will only have your team members that your level 1 members personally sponsored into the company.
3rd Level – This level of your unilevel will only have your team members that your level 2 members personally sponsored into the company.
and so on…

Depending on your rank in the company will depend on the levels deep of the unilevel you can earn and what percentage amount.

You must also be on a minimum order of 3 boxes each month or 100 BV autoship.

1% Global Bonus Pool

You can be able to get a piece of the total BV that the company earns in 1 calendar month.

The way that this works is first you need to be on a 3 box autoship (100 BV) and personally refer 3 business builders in 1 month.

Each month it starts over, and it only counts on the affiliate member's 1st-month order.

The 1% pool will be divided by everyone that qualifies and then split up evenly.

Car Bonus ($400 – $3000 per month)

The car bonus is an "extra" residual commission that you can earn once you reach the rank of Diamond.

The higher in rank above diamond you achieve the more monthly "car bonus" income you will earn.

This pays anywhere from $400 – $3,000 extra per month starting and the rank of Diamond.

Legacy Coded Bonus ($100 not Unlocked at Unlimited Levels)

Valentus offers what is called a Legacy bonus that works after you personally sponsor 3 people that purchase the 16 box pack in one month.

When you personally sponsor your 4th members that purchase the 16 box package in the same month you will earn the fast start bonus plus an additional legacy bonus of $100.

So within the calendar month, if you sponsor 10 people that all have bought the 16 box package, you will earn $1,700 worth of fast start and legacy bonuses.

When the new month starts you also start from zero, so the process starts all over each month.

Valentus FAQ

In this section of the review, we are going to answer some questions that people may have when thinking about joining the Valentus opportunity.

Is Valentus Accredited With the BBB?

No, Valentus is not accredited with the Better Business Bureau.

However, this is not a definite sign of whether or not an opportunity is a scam or a legitimate one in my opinion.

The BBB has been known to have manipulated ratings and reviews that were done by third-party companies so I personally don't take the rating that the BBB has into consideration.

I do refer to the BBB for additional company information and to take at some of the reviews and testimonials to compare with other sources.

Valentus Negative News

Valentus engaged in a legal lawsuit against the formulating company which led Valentus to have to change the formulation into something that tasted "not so great".

However, this issue has been resolved and is not an issue anymore.

Some of the rockiness in the first few years of business with distributors led to some disagreements but have since been worked out.

How Much Does It Cost To Join Valentus?

The cost to join Valentus will vary depending on what level you want to join at and also what kind of discount on the products you are looking for.

The cost to join will be between $59.95 to $499.95 for the "all-in" pack that gives you a higher ranking.

There is also a one-time admin fee of $20 to start as an affiliate member.

Is Valentus A Scam?

In my opinion, Valentus is not a scam.

But, too many of the distributors that were done wrong by the company over, they might say differently.

As far as on paper, they do have everything that an MLM company needs to be in compliance with.

Is There A Better Alternative Than Valentus?

Due to some of the shadiness that I've heard about the owner, I would say there are many alternatives that you can look at that will be better for long-term success.

The company that Korey Johnson created called Cellis could be something for you to take a look at.

My Final Valentus Review and Thoughts

In this final section of the review, I am going to share my final thoughts on the Valentus opportunity.

Overall, on paper, Valentus seems to have a great MLM business model.

There are some things that I would like to see different from the opportunity like the pricing for the retail products listed on the company website without having the need for a distributor link.

Additionally, the original formula of the coffee was great tasting, when the issues happened with the formulator and the company had to go with a different formula, the coffee taste was really awful, so that is another big negative for me.

But other than that, the company seems to be solid.

With that said, there are some underline issues that I was able to uncover through some of the distributors that actually worked for the Valentus opportunity which wasn't a pleasant experience.

I am not saying that everyone has a bad experience but there were a few that I had the pleasure of chatting with personally that says the owner is not that great of a person to work with.

Personally, I don't know how much truth there is to all the stories, but when you have more than one person saying the same things, it really makes you think.

Think about it, one of Valentus' top earners (Korey Johnson) quit or was terminated and started his own healthy coffee company to deliberately go into competition with Valentus!

If that doesn't tell you something was going on, then I don't know what can.

Either way…

Would I recommend or join the Valentus opportunity?

I cannot recommend this opportunity due to many of the stories I've heard about the owner and I would never join a company that takes advantage of its distributors like that.
